I was a walk in at this establishment today and met Phillip. Residing in another state as my primary home and having a second home in Delaware, it was my first haircut in this area. Although I asked for just a “little trim”, Phillip gave me a slightly more “regular” cut, and when he asked after haircut, I did state that it was a little more cut off than I usually got. He was upset that I said this and to my surprise stated there would be no charge. After a brief discussion, and my insistence that I would pay him, he reluctantly agreed and we parted friends. Wonderful! Phillip is a talented stylist who provides a meticulous scissor cut. Besides being polite and courteous, he maintains a clean and comfortable shop. I have only been a customer for 4 months but know quality work when I see it.
Phillip is an excellent barber. I have never been disappointed with my cut. He always gives me the exact cut I ask for. Looking forward to my next visit. On my first visit, I was unaware he had a cash only policy. Phillip told me that was not a problem and allowed me to leave and return with the money to pay for the cut. How many people would do that for someone. He is a gem and I hope he stays here for a long time.
