I had asked for later in the day but instead they came out between 8 and 830. Had left my phone at home that day by accident and when I was about to call them to tell them that they were already out at the house. Was trying to show them where it was but I was at work so I was trying to show them through our ring camera. So I can see why they would be a little frustrated but that’s why I asked for it to be later in the day. Did not expect them to come first thing in the morning. Other then that it went okay“

Good experience with Coty Bailey from Custom Mechanical. Had several small plumbing jobs that I needed help with; outside hose bib leaking, Kohler shower control leaking, installing warm water recirculating pump. Coty called about 15 mins out to advise he was on the way. He arrived and I briefed him on what needed done and he set to work without hesitation. He installed a new Kohler shower valve, a new outside hose bib and installed a recirculating pump that I had from a previous install as well as new hoses on my washer. Coty worked diligently on each task and also installed a small shelf to hold the recirculating pump on the back wall of the bathroom vanity. His work involved being down on the floor working under the vanity, crawling under the house to remove the old hose bib and reinstall the new one and standing to replace the shower valve. He carried a backpack with most tools he needed for each task and spent little time going back to the truck for tools or supplies. All work completed successfully.“

“Harry Caswell did a great job replacing my 75 gallon hot water heater. They gave me an estimate and met it without any increases. I had left a message when I first called and then Rob called me back. I was trying to get another couple of years out of my existing heater and Rob gave me some suggestions. Then he gave several options for different heaters and cost estimates should I need one - No Pressure! After a couple of days Rob called me back to see how I was doing and I had gotten the water heater going. After getting other estimates, H. Caswell's estimates were 1/2, yes, 1/2 of what the other estimates were. So after I failed at saving the existing heater, I called Rob back and we arranged for an install. No paperwork, no service call, no up front estimating cost. We had a little problem with the first employee who showed up unprepared for the job. Rob apologized and arranged for another install the next day. The guys showed up on time and it took them about 4 hours to remove the old 75 gallon tank and replace it with a Rinnai tankless water heater. One of my concerns was that our community might switch from propane to natural gas, but Rob assured me the Rinnai requires no additional parts to convert (this checks out in the Rinnai literature and website). The crew was polite and kept me informed throughout the install on progress and then showed me the important stuff on how to operate it when they were finished. They cleaned up after themselves and removed the old heater (it was a beast). I got the invoice in email after a couple of days and it matched the quoted estimate Rob gave me over the phone. This was probably the easiest contractors I have ever had in my house. Simple quote, work done well, on time and budget. What impressed me most is that all the estimating was done over the phone and Rob was very knowledgeable and helpful without pressuring me. I guess I have a new plumber! Now if they only did HVAC.....“
