Dr. Lamothe is the best optometrist in the DC area. He evaluates your entire eye health, explains things fully and clearly, and provides you with all available options. His office operates efficiently and you rarely have to wait beyond your scheduled appointment time. Even if you do not (or no longer) live or work in the downtown DC area, his care is worth a visit from the suburbs.

Dr Lamothe is wonderful! I’ve been seeing for 5 years. He makes a point to go through my history and asks how my family is doing. I originally saw him bc I needed contacts for my wedding in 2019 but the contacts wouldn’t come in time so he gave me a bunch of trials. His office was clean and calm throughout the covid craziness. The front office is efficient. We had to move states and it’ll be hard finding a replacement

Best ever! They are experts in the field. Knowledgeable, patient and efficient. I bought 2 pairs, the prescription is perfect and I love the styles of the glasses. Easy to deal with and accommodating. I will be back in 6 months for a different pair. Top notch shop. Office is very professional and clean.
