I have been going to the unity anacostia location for a few years now. The older lady who runs the front desk for the dental office needs to be retrained or replaced. My dental care has been pushed back because of having to wait for a call from the older lady to schedule an appointment that has never happened. Not to mention if you call you never get an answer and have to leave voicemail to receive an appointment and when you do get an appointment it’ll pop up in your MyChart and it’s never discussed if that works with your schedule you just have to take what you can get because it’ll be a month or two longer if you do reschedule.

...there's been A LOT of improvements.
...to wit: SWELL text messages re: upcoming appointments, in-location, pharmacy, detailed print-out of visit summary.
...These are real, IMPORTANT improvements.
...BUT clocks still don't run right!!?##@!!
...(it's hard to trust all the other machines, tests, etc a client gets hooked up to - when you can't even get clocks right!)
...the much touted medical records app was CHANGED with no notice to clients
...and is STILL posted on public info posters at clinics!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the kind and warm welcome at your clinic. From the moment we entered the center, we were greeted with smiles, care, and a genuine willingness to help.
We really appreciated that a translator was provided for us — it made communication much easier and helped us feel comfortable and confident. We are also thankful that we were given an appointment with a doctor very soon.
Special thanks to Ms. Tacita Kelly, who helped us with registration. She was very kind, attentive, and professional, and made the whole process smooth and pleasant.
