Prior to our purchases, Jack inspected four houses for us. The first inspection was in 1985 and the most recent inspection was in 2012. The houses were all old and included: a wood frame house with cedar shake siding built in 1846; a wood frame house with aluminum siding built in 1929; a solid masonry house with crawl space built in 1949; and a solid masonry house with basement built in the early 1950s. I've used Jack twice in the last six years on home purchases. He is a home buyer's best friend. He's thorough, knowledgable, and gives you a meticulous report. I've watched him don coveralls and wiggle into a dark crawl space, climb up and walk along on the roof, and nearly dismantle a boiler in order to assess its age and condition. He video tapes everything he does and narrates with advice on how to perform routine maintenance. I've recommended him to friends and he hasn't disappointed.
