After finally acknowledging that prolonged limited shoulder mobility and discomfort was inhibiting both my athletic abilities and my general wellness, my spouse recommended I take one of her sessions at Georgetown Sports Massage.Terrel's approach was nothing short of exceptional, combining a host of targeted sports massage techniques with active isolated stretching (all delivered in a considered conversational manner) his work dramatically improved my shoulder mobility, substantially alleviated my discomfort, and improved my overall athletic performance. Terrel and his work have been instrumental in getting me back to competitive running after a major surgery. I found him via a Google review like this one and regular visits over the past several months are the main thing that have helped me get back to running and cycling pain free. In addition to being a particularly gifted massage therapist, he’s one of the few people I’ve found who actually understand athletes both physically and mentally. I could not recommend him more highly.
Regular visits to Terrel have not only helped me regain flexibility in my left hip and reduce pain in my low back, but our sessions have also transformed how I plan and design my recovery and stretching routine (I am still working on those cold plunges). With Terrel’s assistance, I not only successfully recovered from an injury but also achieved swift and sustained progress in the weight room again after a long season with many niggling injuries. I highly recommend him to anyone aiming to recover from or interested in injury-prevention!
