Wonderful Spa Experience! From the moment my wife walked into the warm and inviting lobby, until she walked into the spa. She forgot that she was in the ever-busy Georgetown. She was greeted by Belinda at the front desk, who welcomed her (basically) to her new spa. She had reservations for a couple of wax services, so she waiting only a few moments in the cozy relaxation room. There was a small light that allowed her to read a few pages of her book, but it did not disturb the other guests. Was brought here by a dear friend and wow- what a relaxing experience!Staff were all super helpful starting from the gentleman at the door where I checked my baggage fir the day, to Diane, Katie, Ceecee in the spa. My massage & facial treatments were fantastic - a nice balance of gentle yet still effective. Spa staff were so helpful & not at all snooty like in some spas. I didn't have time to linger in steam room , but did chill a bit in my robe after treatments & appreciated the hot tea & snacks available. Lockers provided for your belongings . To celebrate our anniversary we were not able to travel this year, so we had a staycation at the Ritz Carlton in Georgetown. The hotel is hiding in plain site. The brick theme from outside continues inside. The accomodations were luxurious from the furniture to the bed to the huge bathroom. The casual restaurant had great food with very friendly staff. The location in Georgetown was my a short walk from dining, shopping and entertainment. Luxury costs but we felt it was worth it considering we had not flown anywhere this year.
