This doctor and his staff are wonderful. I strongly recommend the Dr. Burtua. He is knowledgeable and provides outstanding care. I have eye issues and I feel very lucky that I found him when I moved to DC.
Dr. Butrus has been a doctor here for years serving the neighborhood, and is passionate about what he does. He gets to know his patients on a different level, greeting them like a friend he hasn't seen in a while. You may notice your appointments here may be slow, but that's because he is taking his time with each person to get the right results.
In the past seven months that I've been coming here, I have only received the highest quality of care. Both coming from Dr. Butrus and his staff that never fail to make you feel like family. Back in late November, I was diagnosed with a severe corneal ulcer that would have not been cured if it weren't for Dr. Butrus's expertise. Even when times were rough, Dr. Butrus made it his priority to heal my eye even if it meant checking up the day after Christmas, the day before New Year's Eve, and being open to receiving me in the clinic if there were issues on those same days. He saved my eye, and therefore, I am forever grateful.
