A longtime customer, I recently brought two coats to Cappy’s for repairs. The skilled tailors at Cappy’s expertly replaced a two way zipper on a down polyfill winter coat and repaired a small opening in the shoulder seam. They also hand-reattached fourteen, 1/4 inch hung, buttons (seven buttonholes - seven double sided button attachments) on a vintage shearling coat. The buttons were expertly reattached by hand with true old world skill and precision. Cannot recommend Cappy’s highly enough. If I could give 10 stars I would. So, so good.
I went to Cappys to have zipper replaced on men’s shorts. His price was reasonable and he was very friendly. It was a holiday weekend so he said it would take several days. He texted me the next morning and said the work was done and I could pick them up.
I had talked with another tailor before finding Cappys and they quoted a higher price and it would have taken 3 weeks.
Very happy with Cappy’s ; will make sure to refer him to my friends.
