“I was in need of a new hairdresser so I searched online and found Mikaela ? her salon is adorable and so is she ! I’m a 45 year old mama and wanted to look cuter ( and younger ) and Mikaela understood the assignment. She’s a Capricorn so ya know she’s honest and I asked her if I could rock a middle part . We had great convo and she gave me a wonderful haircut that I left feeling amazing after . She also styled me with the “Mikaela bombshell blowout “ and you couldn’t tell me nothing ! lol even my 21 year old said I looked younger so I’ll take that as a win !

Requested style: Curtain bangs style for long face that suits my face shape .“

“I had my first appointment with Adam this week. I found the environment clean and welcoming. All the staff I encountered were friendly, kudos to the receptionist by the way! Adam was so comfortable to work with, and he really listened to me. I love my cut!“

“Salon Time is super easy to find right on the Berlin Turnpike (look for Bedding Barn!). The salon itself is such a beautiful space... open, airy, and has a very quiet and chill atmosphere.

Tami is super sweet, welcoming, and *really* knows what she's doing. I’ve been getting DevaCuts for years, and this was honestly one of the best, if not THE best, I’ve ever had. She kept things simple and efficient -- I was in and out in just under an hour, which is amazing since sometimes it feels like curly cuts can take forever.

Also pricing is very reasonable compared to a lot of other salons. I am extremely happy with my hair and will definitely be back!“

After only 2 appointments with her, I can confidently say I won’t be going anywhere else. She truly cares about her clients; she even has a whole snack drawer filled with goodies for those longer appointments! “Candi hair salon is such a welcoming hair salon. 100% recommend. They will get your hair silky straight and bring out any color you ask. I love how Candi dyed my hair red from dark brown roots and highlights. Been coming here for YEARSSSS ans they always have me leaving feeling like that GIRLL! The only place to go!!“

“Mizzara SLAYED my goddess locs. I showed her a picture and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Long medium goddess locs with triangle parts (parts ON POINT!). Her hands are blessed. The vibe was A1…music playing and great conversation about what’s happening in the world. Mizzara is a business woman so she’s straightforward and serious about proper hair care. “This is a long overdue review. Tammy at Hair on the Square literally did something I could find NO ONE else to do!

I live in the United Kingdom but am originally from Newington. This past summer when I was visiting home with my sons, I asked friends if anyone knew a stylist who could do a perm for a boy. If you have a teenage son you know that curly mops are in at the moment and my then 16 yo son with poker straight hair had been asking for a perm for a year. We had called around to salons in our local area in the UK but no one did perms anymore let alone men's perms. So when I arrived in CT, I asked friends and one of my particularly 'in the know' friends, got Tammy's name.

Tammy was AMAZING. From the initial contact and finding a time to squeeze us in relatively last minute, to being thoughtful, kind, and explaining the process to my son down to the science of it (he was curious), to a very reasonable rate--we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I told Tammy she should consider relocating to London as I know she'd make a killing on boy perms! :)

This is a niche market and hard to find someone who offers this service--I had been looking for a year! I hope this review helps other moms find Tammy and her amazing service.“
