Have you ever gotten in the barber's chair and when it was all said and done, you're a totally different person? I mean a cosmetic process that makes you feel differently inside??? A client can tell so much about a barber and the cut within the first minute of the cut. There's something about the barber's initial usage of the clippers that tells you everything you need to know about the cut. There's a lot that goes into this experience. The ambiance of the barbershop is crucial. A professional environment is so much better than one that doesn't prioritize looking, sounding, and being professional. My son and I came here for his graduation to get a shape up. We walked right in and he was seated right away, which was great since we running out time because we had to get to his graduation. The barber did a great job with my son's shape up and he even noticed my son's hair unraveling because he just got his hair twisted. He kindly said he could re-twist his hair. He also gave me a referral to an establishment that could do his twist the proper way since the shop we just left didn't do them right. A shape up was twenty dollars which is pricey so I can imagine how much a haircut cost.

At first I was a little nervous because before Jose I had the same barber for about 15 years but when I moved from NYC to CT my old barber also moved back to his hometown in the Dominican Republic and I was forced to find a new barber. Jose made that transition too easy for me. He is highly skilled at what he does, very professional and radiates positive energy. He’s great with the clippers, scissors and straight blade/razor. His fading is immaculate and if you have a beard he will sculpt it like a work of art.
