The Laundry Room on the Ave

I am visiting this laundromat on a Monday afternoon around 11am. There is a working ATM here. There are 11 washing machines and 12 dryers. Nice resting area is available. This business is clean, a multilingual attendant is here, and she has advised each customer when their washer or dryer is done. She keeps the customer traffic moving to a nice pace. She is very helpful and very concerned about the cleanliness of the laundromat. Good parking and parking lot is very clean. There are businesses across the street to eat lunch or get a coffee. Be aware of employee possibly stealing your payment when paying in cash. Pay in cash, shows as not paid in their computer system. Make sure to keep receipt.This applies to any store not to single out this particular establishment.This does not reflect on laundromat owner, most likely an honest individual.This happened at my Chiropractors office, great Doctor, unfortunately the receptionist assistant was helping herself to patients cash payments.In all fairness, this laundromat probably deserves an overall rating of 4.7This is mainly due to that out of a total of 3 folding tables, only one and sometimes two folding tables are available for customer usage, folding tables...read full review

My building has laundry, but it is expensive and unpleasant and unreliable. SO! I started looking around for other options. I've now been to the Laundry Room on the Ave twice, and both times I've been met with a very clean space and a friendly worker running the show. It is pleasant to wait in the sitting area and quiet considering the type of establishment. I like the folding table and the rolling laundry baskets to bring your dry things over to it. I'll be back again and again.
