Karen is outstanding with her deep expertise in the area of acupuncture! She takes the time to thoroughly understand your needs and applies her knowledge to benefit you. I find myself in an extreme state of relaxation after every session. I highly recommend Karen and her practice! I am so happy I decided to give it a try years ago!

I took my mom to Quan Yin with a bad pain on her face as a result of a problem with the trigeminal nerve and she’s feeling so much better with only the first visit. Her second visit is tomorrow and my mom is anxious to visit Karen again. Thank you!!

Over 15 years ago, I jumped on the internet searching for anything that could bring me relief from my raging TMJ symptoms. I luckily came across Karen’s website and gave it a try out of pure desperation. I say this because I have a needle fear, so I was anxious about trying acupuncture. Thank goodness I took the chance on Karen (and acupuncture). I am not exaggerating when I say she changed my life significantly for the better! After only one or two sessions my jaw relaxed, my headaches and nausea improved and eventually went away. I have continued seeing Karen for maintenance, as well as for pure relaxation and stress management. I often fall asleep on her table. I leave with a natural high every visit. Don’t look any further, book your visit with Karen!!

I have been seeing Karen for chronic back pain for the last couple months. I can honestly say that since I’ve started seeing her for accupuncture I have experienced long intervals of relief with shorter periods of pain. Over the years I have seen several doctors, gone to PT as well as the chiropractor. Accupuncture with Karen has truly been a gift.Dawn V.

I am a newbie to acupuncture and I couldn't have picked a better place to start it! Karen is an amazing practioner. I have a fear of needles and she helped me feel comfortable right from the start. Not to mention I have more energy and feel better since regularly coming to see Karen. I can't recommend her practice enough!

I've been working with Karen for over 2 years and cannot recommend her practice and expertise enough. Karen takes the time to get to know you, always listens well and constantly individualizes treatment each session. I always leave treatments feeling that I have benefited greatly. Her hours offer flexibility to accommodate various scheduling needs and it is easy to get in touch with her if needed.

I’ve had severe neck, shoulder and back pain for almost one year. The pain was to the point where I couldn’t keep my head up at around 2 pm every day. I was getting bad headaches daily and couldn’t get relief. A neurologist told me I have severe arthritis and deterioration in my C1 & C2 vertebrae and a bulging disk in my back. I’ve also been dealing with a lot of trauma in my personal life that has caused me a huge amount of stress, tension and anxiety. I found out about the C1 & C2 a year ago when I experienced a thunderclap headache which is usually brought on by aneurisms and had cat scans and MRI’s to rule out the aneurisms and found all this other mess. They told me that I could do massage therapy, physical therapy, see a chiropractor or an acupuncturist. I tried everything except acupuncture. I’ve had acupuncture a couple of times and I did get relief for my tendinitis in my elbow. I was referred to Karen by a client and researched her background and also researched another acupuncturist. I chose to go to Karen and I’m so glad I did. I was to the point where it was hard to move some days. When I opened her office door I was greeted with a big hello and a big smile welcoming me in. She was very sincere with her greeting and I knew it was a great fit already. She is very personable, answers all your questions and does a great job getting to know you, your activities, what hurts on your body, etc. This is something I’ve never experienced before. I found Karen to be very thorough in her approach to the patient. Once I was on the table and she began my treatment, every needle hit the correct spot and I knew I found someone who was really good. The best part was the next morning when I woke up. I was still lying down and something didn’t feel right. I then realized I had no more pain. I couldn’t believe it. I stood up and realized, as gravity took over, that there was still some pain but I felt 20% better. I was shocked. As the week went on, I felt better and better and by the weekend, I took two hikes, cut the lawn twice, changed 4 tires and I realized I wasn’t in intense pain or extremely tight anymore. I was 75% better by Sunday night. I still feel like I worked out heavy, I’m still soar, but the tightness, immobility of my neck and the intense pain was gone. If there is anyone out there that’s tried acupuncture before that didn’t work out, I would highly encourage you to give Karen a call. Karen is the real deal! If you want a kind, personable professional who cares about her patients and there well being, I don’t think you can go wrong in any way. I’ll be seeing Karen until I’m 100% pain free and then for maintenance after that when I need it. Thank you so much Karen. I was losing hope in trying to cure the pain.Sincerely thrilled,Erik
