Not many old school barbershops around anymore that don't make you make an appointment a week in advance and then pay $45+tip for a simple haircut. Some of the customers here may be a bit crazy but Mario is cool and I'd much rather take my chances as a walk-in here than go to an overpriced BS place.
Mario offers good conversation, a welcoming attitude, and a good haircut at a fair price. Former Vietnam era army medic and paratrooper who is always good for some laughs and commentary. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
I was fortunate to have a wonderful haircut experience this morning. After reading some of the other reviews I had to visit this place, meet Mario and get a haircut. There are many positive reviews that detail this man and his business. No need to recite them, they all capture this experience. Go there, enjoy talking to Mario, tip him generously and thank him for his service, which is for much more than just a haircut.
