I usually don't review a place if I don't intent to give them five stars. The course is good for golf. Not entirely good at entertaining guests. The starter was very strict with the no cart in the parking lot. When asked they just smugly pointed to the sign below their stand. Same experience I had here a couple years ago, which is why I don't make this place a must play even though it's 20 minutes from where I live. The cart path is literally right next to the parking lot. You have to drive through it twice. A few hours later I see many carts in the parking area. The hot dog on the turn saved to day.
Great layout, well maintained and competent staff! A mix of challenging holes with a lot of elevation changes, but wide well maintained fairways and tight rough make it playable. We enjoy our time every time.
My son and I played today. We found the course in great condition and certainly worth the green fees. I'm leaving 5 stars but wanted to mention pace of play. We never encountered a ranger today and it would have been helpful on the back. BTW, it's almost every public course, hopefully this may change in the future.
