A local, family run business that has been serving the Stamford area for an astonishing 103 years. As of this year, I think they've been serving my family's home for 68 years (starting before I was born). All of the technicians and office people are very friendly and knowledgeable. This kind of business is increasingly rare. If your oil burner fails in the middle of winter, you'll be really happy that you are a customer of theirs. (But they are really good about scheduling annual tuneups, so chances are it won't fail! :-).

My wife and I are really happy to have Reliable Oil. We recently had an issue with our furnace and their service team responded quickly in a very professional, efficient, and trustworthy manner. Specifically, Anthony and Luigi were terrific. We have had lots of companies through our almost 25 years of homeownership and would highly recommend Reliable Oil to anyone looking to change or try for the first time. You won’t be disappointed.

We have been customers for more than a decade and this company never disappoints. We lost heat in the dead of winter and they sent over a technician at 1am to fix the problem. I don't write reviews often but Reliable Oil & Heat are worth recommending.

Our heating went out this morning, within 30 minutes of my phone call, Reliable sent over a gentlemen that has been doing work for 43 years, quickly diagnosed the problem, and proceeded to take apart the system and clean and triage the issue and fix it with very little hassle.I was very impressed with his understanding of the system and be able to diagnose the problem and within 40 minutes to clean, fix, and safely put everythign back and quickly explain to me the issue
