do not buy a vehicle from this place! they sold us a used 2021 z71 tahoe with 4 bald tires, a bad transmission and rusted out under carriage that somebody tried to fix with bondo. then, when we called them to bring it in, all we got wast the run around. then, we bring it in and the service manager leaves before we get there. somebody else looked at it on the lift and said the rust was really bad. they promised us they would take care of it. they never called to follow up and when we did, they told us there was nothing they could do for us. f*** minchin!

Sent my daughter to the local Buick dealership because you can normally get good service. Not the case with Minchin Buick in Stamford, CT all she got was lies, rude treatment, and overpriced work! "We Compared to other local Buick dealerships. Not to mention the car when they were done was a mess with bird droppings all over it. Buick corporate should look into this dealership and assess its worthiness will be forwarding this to them.

As background, I came here 2 years ago for service and left upon seeing employees without masks. Decided to come here today for same routine service only because it is close by, only to find the same thing; 1) the service receptionist came out to my car without a mask. I had to ask her to put one on, 2) of the three cubicles within the customer waiting area, two were occupied by individuals without masks. Ok--maybe they do so only while within their cubicle, alone. However, I was quickly proven wrong when one of the occupants got up, visited her neighbor, then walked through the customer waiting area with no mask on. That's customer care?... Update: into hour #2 for a simple oil change and tire rotation. The unmasked employee has spent the hour on personal cell phone calls using her speaker phone and watching TV on her phone, again with the speaker on. Meanwhile, customers are required to watch a stream of infomercials on a Minchin ad TV station. During this period, several other employees walked through the customer waiting area with no masks, including a guy who stopped by one of the cubicles to discuss where he had to go to pick up vehicles in the area. Update#2: service was completed in 90 minutes. All was done well. Overall view: while the service performed seems to be well done, my health and that of others is more important to me than the quality of an oil change. I can have my car serviced almost anywhere. However, I have no way of knowing if any of the employees have been vaccinated or if they might have Covid. However, I do know that there are thousands of enterprises that have introduced a safety-centric culture in these difficult times. When the Minchin Group does not take the safety of customers seriously by establishing rules for employees, it speaks volumes to me. This is the last time I come here. It is also the last time I will buy a Buick. This dealership already has a terrible rating.

I have mixed feelings about Minchin. The service department is absolutely wonderful. Each time I brought my vehicle in the guys in the service department were polite, helpful, and attentive. My agitation lies with he sales department. They offered me less to trade in my vehicle than KBB and other dealers were willing to give me, even considering my time as a loyal GM customer. There was no effort to even attempt to work to get me into something else, regardless of the market for used vehicles right now. Needless to say, I would not buy a vehicle from this dealership, but I would definitely recommend having services provided.

I had a wonderful experience with Frank as my salesman 3 years ago. I was and have been in love with my Buick Enclave. I was excited to get back into another Enclave once my lease was up! I walked into the showroom 3 months ago(3 months before my lease was up- and fully paid on my payments!) I was introduced to Bobby (after 25 min of walking around the showroom with no help). Bobby promised me the moon and the stars- assured me that my payments would be lowered since I was downgrading from my previous premium package to now the essence. My payment was to go from 499 to 479. It was a done deal! I was losing a few features, but who cares? I loved the car! By the way- did I mention my friend was with me who was also going to purchase the same car? And a friend of mine got the same car a month before? He assured me that it was necessary to leave a $500.00 deposit because due to COVID supply was limited. I gave him a $500 check under his assurance that it would not be cashed until the car was mine and became available. Needless to say the check was cashed two weeks later and I didn’t hear back from him with confirmation of the cars arrival (all proven with text messages) until late September. The check was cashed in July! After all the paperwork was said and done- he then decided to tell me he could no longer offer me the price he quoted (the night before I was to pick up the car!) Bobby was extremely rude and arrogant. I can’t help but think that if I went in with my husband would I have been treated the same way!? Did he view me as an ignorant housewife? His one message to me stated “it is what it is”. Needless to say, I got my $500 refunded after I showed up to the dealership demanding it! Unfortunately will never do business with Minchin again. Upon talking to my “housewives” moms about my experience MANY have all had the same experience with the SAME sales person! Apparently there is even a Facebook page about them? It is truly a shame because I loved my car and enjoyed my previous sales person. I would have totally leased another car from Minchin again (as would my friends)- but I guess things happen for a reason... I just leased a beautiful new SUV from infinity of Greenwich for cheaper then what Bobby was offering me. What a shame- you not only lost a deal- you lost a longtime customer....
