They are known for their thoroughness and excellent bedside manner, with a great sense of humor that puts patients at ease. The assistants, such as Gabe, are very helpful, outgoing, and calming. Patients have reported feeling happy and satisfied with their care, highlighting the inviting and organized atmosphere of the office. Busy, busy practice, and wait times between tests were substantial, but cannot fault the attitudes and professionalism of the staff. Dr. Nguyen is awesome and explained the treatment options thoroughly without talking down to me. Great interaction. And then back out to the waiting room for another 15 minutes just to make a follow up appointment. So pack your patience, expect delays, and know it’s worth the wait for exceptional care.
I have had several procedures with the eye care group. I find them to be very kind and professional. They also do their best to be patient and make procedures easy to understand throughout the entire process.
I'm a retired medical professional who practiced for more than 40 years. I moved to Connecticut in 1976 and this is the 5th Opthamology practice I have utilized. DR.Covey and her assistant Gabe provided the most comprehensive medical history, information and exam in an inviting and organized manner. Very impressed with the office and overall practice.
