My son and I had an exceptional experience at this location. The receptionist made the check-in process smooth, and I was quickly taken to the examination room, my son had his apponinment after mine.
Dr. Filchak was incredibly thorough and patient, I never felt rushed, and he explained everything I ask about my eye health. It's clear that Dr. is passionate about what he does and genuinely cares about his patients.
Nancy, the optician, was just as impressive, friendly, kind, professional, and always ready to answer any questions, whether it was helping me and my son, choose frames or explaining my prescription, she was knowledgeable and attentive.

I had the best experience today at Dr. Filchak’s My Eye Dr. location in Southbury. I have moved out of the area after becoming a patient. However, I will continue to come for my yearly check up at this location based on the professionalism and ease of having my eye exam. The Eye Specialist Jennifer was wonderful and went above and beyond to assure I had the correct eye glass prescription.
Great service and great people. I was a little leery of going to a big chain place, but everything here was smooth and professional. Dr. Filchak is the best eye doctor I've ever had.
