It's been 10 months now and the window still hasn't been repaired. I've had three appointments which all resulted in a "no show" and "no call". When I call, I get voice mail. Needless to say, I don't get a call back. In the past 10 months, the only call made by Heritage Glass was a request to change one of the appointments which ended up with a no show. They never initiate any calls. Now, I will start the process of trying to get my deposit back.

Called and asked for a piece of glass, great customer service was willing to deliver it to my house! So kind and professional would highly recommend!

The worst lying B.S. artist. Had my window screens for months. First, you can pick them up at the shop, I’ll leave them outside for you. Not there, said he forgot, which happens. Then, I’ll drop them off at your house this week. ( over two months ago.) Then, I’ll drop them off tomorrow, which has been going on for weeks now. Got into it with him on the phone on Friday, he promised he’d drop them off over the weekend. Well, it’s Sunday evening, and guess what? Nothing! I am very easy to deal with, until I get jerked around, and this is where we are now.

There were manufacturing delays due to COVID which is understandable but he never kept his promise to show up when he said he would, after the ordered items were in his possession. After many calls , he would promise... “I can’t be there tomorrow like I said but I will be there first thing on Monday at 8am”. Monday came and went. Thursday he rescheduled for Friday. Then Friday came and went. And so on, etc. This went on for a few months. After many calls to him, I gave up. I figured he will show up when he’s in the mood to finish the job. After getting three quotes for a new sliding door we contracted Heritage glass, what a mistake. Now I know the factory shutdowns played a part of the 8 month delay but what's worse is the quality of the installation . Here were the issues.1. Damaged side lite gales installing the door - Replaced it no charge2. Wrong door installed - brush painted it to cover up the mistake, paint everywhere.3. Door not square4. Door did not glide smooth and hit the jam before closing5. hard to open due to tightness in the jamb6. door & Jamb do not aligned 3/4" gap when one part of the door touches jamb7. paint brush marks on non-painted parts of the frame, wood trim & Glass.8. Door panel upside down9. Trim was not finished10 Rarely received updates on progress - always calling to push this to get done - 145 calls not to mention the text messages.Stay away.

Took half the cost for a deposit and said he ordered the glass. Kept having to reschedule, saying still waiting for one piece. Then the weather or employee calling out sick whatever the excuse of the day was. Finally after a couple of months we asked for our deposit back and he tried to give us less than we paid him. DO NOT give cash, have a check for proof! Better than that- don’t hire him!

After reading these reviews, I decided to use a different company to replace my storm door. Unfortunately, the previous owners of my condo had used Heritage Glass to replace all the windows and sliders. Now my slider screens fall off the track at the slightest touch. Over the past two to three weeks, John has promised to come out to adjust them at least 3 or 4 different days. He has not called and has not shown up. Now he is not returning my calls. I would never use this company! It doesn't matter how good the original job is, if you can't get service when you need it, then to me that is not a reputable company.
