We have used this practice for many years and especially so during this past year. Our almost 15 year old golden doodle, Sera, began to require more medical assistance than in previous years. Dr. Kristen consistently returned calls and listened and communicated effectively with us in order to give Sera the best care possible. Sadly, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let our precious Sera go and Dr. Kristen was there for all of us. Sera's passing, although very difficult for us, was very gentle, peaceful and loving. Although our hearts and our home feel so empty without Sera, we know that Dr. Kristen gave her the best possible care. “Great vet despite being very busy. Their staff do not hesitate to answer questions and educate you on how to treat a potential issue before coming into the office, all free of charge. This has saved us tons of money compared to our previous vet who would always want a visit for the most minor of issues and prescribe hundreds of dollars of medications and treatments before confirming what the issue was. Comparatively I’m used to vets rushing you through a diagnosis and then charging an outrageous bill so I was really impressed with this practice. “My sweet cat, who is a rescue from St Thomas, needed to have oral surgery. Needless to say I was very concerned as the surgery requires anesthesia in addition to the tooth extraction itself. It was my first experience with a pet having surgery of any kind. Everything went well and my cat didn’t exhibit any issues after surgery. “On Christmas day my cat passed away. Not even being my normal vet, she was there for us. She was in the office for a different patient and when I called, they not only answered but helped us. She never rushed me. I was able to take my time and say goodbye to my sweet kitty. I will be forever grateful to them. She owed us nothing, he wasn't her patient but still, on Christmas day showed me care and compassion. I am forever grateful. They are wonderful.“
