At first i was skeptical, as we all know since switching barbers is initially scary. But as soon as I walked in the door i felt extremly welcomed. He is extremly kind and funny, and airs nice shows on his tv while cutting your hair. He remarked how careful he is with fades as one little thing can mess up the entire end result. He is very careful and extremly accurate in cutting your hair as well as exceptionally funny, and i couldnt reccomend anyone else. I will be back.

My family has been going to Giovanni’s Barber Studio for years and I can’t say enough good things about the owner and barber, Jessica. My son Manny first started seeing her back in intermediate school, at first just in the summers while we were in the area for swim lessons (a big shout-out to The School of Swimming!), but it didn’t take long before she became his primary barber. She’s also helped my daughter with sugaring treatments here and there and the experience has always been excellent.
Jessi is truly one of a kind: friendly, kind, and down-to-earth. She sees her clients by appointment only, but does her best to work with you if something comes up, whether that’s moving a time slot, putting you on a waiting list, or squeezing you in when her schedule is packed. She’s just a quick call, text, or email away and she always makes you feel like a valued client rather than just another appointment.
As a parent herself, Jessi really understands kids and the challenges that come with getting them in the chair. She’s fantastic with children of all ages, my son and daughter both feel completely at ease with her. The shop itself is welcoming and fun: it’s not unusual to chat with Jessi, snack on some candy, watch Netflix or even get to say hello to her dog when she’s hanging out for the day. The space is comfortable year-round, cozy and warm in the winter, and refreshingly frigid in the summer with the AC.
Her son Giovanni “Gio,” the namesake of the shop, is also part of the experience at times. He’s a big Tesla fan and since I drive a Model S, he always gets a laugh when I remotely make those silly car farting noises. It’s those small personal touches that make the whole place feel like more than just a barbershop.
Jessi also offers a wide variety of services, from cuts and styling to sugaring and more. If I still had hair myself, I’d be booking appointments right alongside my son! Even though those days are far behind me, I’m grateful to have found someone who makes taking care of my kids’ hair such an easy and enjoyable experience. On top of that, her prices are very reasonable, which makes the quality and service she provides even more impressive.

To be honest I wasn't sure how exactly I wanted my haircut to be - probably something that most barbers don't want to hear - but Esmir was awesome and made recommendations that turned out to be the best haircut I've gotten by far. Late 2019 the boiler at out Church had a catastrophic failure just as the winter cold began. First Choice Home Services, Al, stepped up to the plate to help. He found a boiler replacement but delivery was a problem because of Covid. There were delivery issues and Al was willing to travel to get the parts if needed. He quickly arranged to install the boiler and get everything working. Also, he provided some temporary heat to the building to try and keep the building somewhat warm. The basement was old, damp and dark. Al and his team made everything come together timely. He is also someone who returns your call promptly. His workmanship is the highest quality and he is highly recommended. He managed to get the work done after hours when needed since winter is a busy season for the heating industry.Thanks Al,Service: Heating system repair
If I can give 10 stars I would. I had a serious blockage in my shower which I thought I could handle with draino and a snake but realized the clog was deep and all the way down towards the road when my bathtub and toilets had a gargle noise and bubbles coming from toilets in different stories of the house On a Monday morning I called the company and gave the girl my info. A few hours later the Ed called and actually apologized for taking some time to call me back which was not necessary to apologized because he called me back. After he worked all day he said he would come by the house and see what’s going on. I was NOT expecting him to start working this late in the day I had a major block maybe from roots but the clean out was in the wall and the water was up to top of clean out where he slowly had to unscrew the cap alittle at a time and keep cleaning up water that was coming out. He had to do alot of work before he could snake it. But after 70 ft he was able to unclog the pipe. I wanted to hug him. He was very professional and very clean. Extremely affordable that we felt the need to give a nice tip. He deserved more. Especially for coming the same day. I will be sharing this company to everyone I know. Thank you
Great job done installing new ceiling fan in room with very high cathedral ceiling and mounting a lighted medicine cabinet into kids’ bathroom which took a lot of creativity and craftsmanship given the size/shape was very different from the previous fixture. They also kindly changed all the lightbulbs in my very high ceilings to LED bulbs, which I really appreciated!!

We just had a tree taken down by LaPila Arborists. We love the work they do. They are neat, friendly, experienced, extremely professional and knowledgeable AND affordable. This is not the first time we have used them. They also have treated our Beech trees for Beech Leaf Disease. We plan on continuing to use them for all our tree needs in the future. The entire Eckert Chiropractic team is amazing. Each and every one of them is extremely kind and takes the time to listen and help however needed. I have been seeing Dr Eckert since 2010 and have never been disappointed. I started seeing him because I had a lot of neck pain from my years of gymnastics. I learned that I had a reverse curve in my neck that was causing the pain and intermittent numbness in my left shoulder. I also had sciatica. I am happy to say that between adjustments and treatment from Dr Eckert and massages from Bob (who is also amazing and one of the nicest people I know) both issues have been fixed and now I just see them for maintenance.

Karen is the most professional and attentive massage therapist I’ve ever had. I originally started going to her for lymphatic drainage massage after surgery. Not many LMT in the area offer this! She is amazing at it! Extremely knowledgeable and educated me on how to continue care at home while also building me custom cost effective packages for long term treatment. After I was healed and no longer needed lymphatic massages, I continued to go to her for full body massages. It truly doesn’t get much better than Karen. I have referred plenty of friends and family and would continue to refer everyone I know. They’ve also said they received the best massages of their life coming to Karen. Her pricing is great, her talent is better. I could not recommend her enough!
