“Love this group. Super warm and friendly. Very down to earth. I went to see Liz for the first time for an emergency. She was so awesome. I wanted to take her home. She checked in on me frequently to make sure I wasn’t having any issue with the current treatment. I went back to finish up the treatment with Vinny, he was great. Then I had Tina for a dental cleaning very thorough very gentle again awesome. From check in to check out, I was treated wonderfully. “I have been a patient of Dr. Evans since 2022, when I sought him out after receiving a very botched implant whilst living abroad in a country with poor healthcare and little to no regard to protocol (a naïve mistake on my behalf).

Since then, Dr. Evans has been monitoring my bone and gum loss around the area (#29) along with thorough examination of any potential abscesses or other negative effects due to the poor placement of the initial implant done abroad. Last year, we made the decision to go ahead and perform a bone graft, redo the implant (correctly!) and finalize with a gum graft.

I must say that I would not trust anyone else with this reconstruction, especially considering the delicate and very meticulous nature of it. Dr. Evans and his team are always so warm and welcoming; if I require anything, or even if I have just a simple question, Dr. Evans’ staff will always give me a call back before the end of the business day, or the following morning at the latest. My explant and bone graft both went and healed swimmingly. I recently had the implant redone which was also a very positive experience. Every procedure that I’ve done with Dr. Evans has gone as easygoing as a surgery could go. I’ve always been treated excellently by Dr. Evans, who also provides the IV sedation both skilfully and gently. I appreciate the warm environment; generally, one tends to think of dental offices as cold and unwelcoming. This is not the case at Advanced Periodontics.

Dr. Evans is an expert of his craft. He lectures in the field of periodontics and dental implants, and is affiliated with Yale New Haven. Apart from his professional credentials, his lived experience in the field of periodontics and dentistry is very apparent when speaking with him, which has always provided me the upmost reassurance. I feel very safe in his and his staff’s hands, and I’m thankful to him for treating my not-so-common and very sensitive situation with his skilfulness and efficiency.“
