Rachel, the owner, conducted a hair extensions consult with me, completed hair trials for my mom and I, prepped my hair the night prior with a blow out, and spoke to me at length about the needs and timeline for my bridesmaids and family members who were also getting their hair done for the event. I shared my vision with Rachel and she placed a top notch effort into curling my hair and hair extensions in a multi-hour process. Mackenzie did an amazing job of highlighting my features through make-up in a very natural way! Between all of the prep work and the day of, my bridesmaids, mom, and I looked incredible! We also spoke extremely highly of the entire experience- It was relaxing yet Rachel’s team still managed to get us out the door on time for departure to the venue. I HIGHLY recommend this salon for all of your bridal needs!“
“I just started yesterday and signed up for 4 sessions. I don't expect instant results but i left feeling positive and hopeful to lose excess weight without prescription medication as my doctor would love to do. I now have to convince myself to drink more water and eating abit better. This place is relaxing and an escape from the world a mental oasis for mind and body.“

She also gives it to you straight - if you don't need a more expensive service, she won't try to up-sell you. She has a great rapport with all her clients, and I always look forward to my hair appointments. That is very unlike me - I've always waited MONTHS between appointments, which leads to my hair (especially the ends) looking unhealthy - but now I look forward to seeing her every 8-10 weeks. They also offer waxing services, which, after a bad experience at a nail salon in the area, I will definitely be upgrading to JH Hair Design! They probably aren't the least expensive in the area, but you get what you pay for, and they are truly top-notch.“

“I decided to look into lash extensions, as they don't make mascara the way they used to: It flakes off and clumps and leaves me with smudges under my eyes -- Even when I use waterproof mascara! It was extremely aggravating and frustrating to purchase tube after tube of different mascaras, searching in vain for something akin to what I used to use (L'Oreal Lash Out in the maroon tube -- Circa 1980s & 90s).I was researching lash artists and found Sandy's site, which I read in its entirety. I was very impressed with her background, presentation, knowledge, and offerings. Upon my first visit, I found her studio to be beautiful, comfortable, and spic-and-span. It was immediately evident that Sandy is very warm and friendly, and has a great personality. She is patient with my questions, and truly takes the time to learn what I want my lashes to look like, and to make sure I understand what she is doing. Her suggestions are always spot-on! Sandy's work is fabulous, and I could not be happier!Thanks to Sandy, now I always feel not just presentable, but ready to go! At least 45 minutes are shaved off my getting-ready time: No more struggles with mascara wands and icky black 'paint' and de-clumping wars (ewww)! My lashes are long, full, and fluffy, and gone are the days of racoon eyes! Sandy is a very talented lash artist and fantastic person! Give her a try -- You will be delighted!“
