The atmosphere is relaxing. Everyone is pleasant, cordial and accommodating. I would highly recommend and plan on returning for my future highlighting and haircuts. “I decided to look into lash extensions, as they don't make mascara the way they used to: It flakes off and clumps and leaves me with smudges under my eyes -- Even when I use waterproof mascara! It was extremely aggravating and frustrating to purchase tube after tube of different mascaras, searching in vain for something akin to what I used to use (L'Oreal Lash Out in the maroon tube -- Circa 1980s & 90s).I was researching lash artists and found Sandy's site, which I read in its entirety. I was very impressed with her background, presentation, knowledge, and offerings. Upon my first visit, I found her studio to be beautiful, comfortable, and spic-and-span. It was immediately evident that Sandy is very warm and friendly, and has a great personality. She is patient with my questions, and truly takes the time to learn what I want my lashes to look like, and to make sure I understand what she is doing. Her suggestions are always spot-on! Sandy's work is fabulous, and I could not be happier!Thanks to Sandy, now I always feel not just presentable, but ready to go! At least 45 minutes are shaved off my getting-ready time: No more struggles with mascara wands and icky black 'paint' and de-clumping wars (ewww)! My lashes are long, full, and fluffy, and gone are the days of racoon eyes! Sandy is a very talented lash artist and fantastic person! Give her a try -- You will be delighted!“

“Salon Epic is my absolute favorite place to go. I’ve followed the owner Laura throughout my life, she cut my hair when I was a little girl and always did my hair for my dance recitals, with each year getting more intricate and beautiful with compliments for days from other people. Since the opening of Salon Epic, I’ve been going to Laura’s daughter, Melissa, who goes above and beyond for her clients just like her mom. I love my time there where each and every visit, every single employee is engaging and sweet and makes sure you are getting the best service possible. I’ve never left there without feeling even more beautiful than when I arrived and love the fact that every idea I have wanted to try out with my hair, Melissa is so supportive and creative to figure out how to not only deliver but do so with your hair’s health in mind (seriously- my hair has never felt better than since I started going). Melissa also takes the time to explain the thought behind certain processes so you know exactly what’s going on at every step. You can tell how much care is put into you and your hair and It’s nice to know that no matter who is assisting or working on your hair alongside your main stylist, you are always in the best of hands.
