How many of us have "always wanted to" ? Since I was a young boy I desired to study Karate, but something always got in the way. Living in downtown we are SO FORTUNATE to have Sensei Andy and the Dojo. I was very nervous to start as an almost 40 year old beginner. Sensei Andy offered me a private first session to familiarize myself with all things Karate and I recommend the same to any beginner. Goju Ryu is a beautiful martial art passed down from the Okinawans and from the research and understanding I continue to build, Chuck Merrimans Dojo here in Niantic is an outpost of that art!

I’ve seen Sensei Chad work with children. He’s amazing. I’ve also trained with him and my brother when I’ve visited my home town. It’s always a memorable experience!
