I was not planning on coming back to a my eye dr location after the poor service I had at Vernon’s location. Waiting over an hour to be seen and out the door 20 minutes after with a 10 minute dr consultation feeling brushed thru the service with a fairly new dr!
My wife scheduled another appointment at the Newington location with Joel and I have to say this man made me a believer again. Found out my perscription was too strong. Needless to say he helped me correct my vision and gave some great pointers to stop watery eyes rather than give me eye drops and send me on my way he took the time to answer and redirect all of my questions. It started when I had to cancel my appointment and reschedule. I rescheduled the appointment went to the appointment and the manager there told me that my appointment was canceled because I missed the other appointment. I don't know what kind of way you do business but to me that's pretty poor your manager was also rude and and didn't offer anything more than another reschedule. I am extremely disappointed with the way my eye doctor handled this situation.

Dr. Joel Rother is excellent! Have been seeing him over the last 5 years. My eyes have improved 6 steps. He's always explains things in a way that is understandable. Can't imagine going anywhere else for eye care.
