My son has been going since he was 4 years old and he is turning 8 this year. His brother will start this year when ge turns 4. I was nervous about them learning martial arts so young but the staff at this school is so amazing. It builds confidence and teaches defense but also they learn so much about building character, commitment, health, coordination, and they have fun. They both want to go all the time and now my oldest Iikes to go early to help out the younger kids. It’s an amazing place with a loving and professional staff!

The instructors are excellent with children. I feel like they are more confident. My children are so excited to go to every class! Parents can watch the lessons. Students learn real life lessons and self defense in a safe & caring environment.

My kids have done all types of sports and activity and this has been their favorite. The other kids and families are nice. The price is affordable and I love that they do 4 classes a week. The classes are fun but are also very practical. The price is reasonable and on the lower end of martial arts schools and they don't make you sign ridiculous contracts. This was everything I was looking for in a Martial Arts school.

M’y daughter was taking dance classes and one day she wanted to start karate. When I asked her why, she stated with young wisdom that she wanted to learn how to defend herself. CT Kenpo was open that day and the demo team was practicing she was hooked on the school and eager to attend with the goal of making it on the demo team. Not only did she learn self-discipline and how to become a role model for others, she eventually made the demo team. That was a long time ago. She is now one of the instructors at CT Kenpo as well as one of the coaches of the demo team. What she learned from her role models at the school, she passes down to other students. This school teaches values, self-discipline, and self-efficacy in their students which helps them grow as individuals. I should know as I am the proud mother of Sifu Mel.

Excellent instructors. Not only teach self defense but respect, loyalty and kindness towards others. The course helps build excellent leadership skills as well. The instructors are very patient with the youngsters and the students have respect for their professors. I’d give these Professors and this facility a ten out of five stars if I could.
