Long but worth the read.. In the tattoo world there are two different kinds of artists. There are one's that learn the trade, become decent enough to constitute "good work" and for the average customer and they are satisfied. Then there are the upper echelon of artists who go beyond learning just how to tattoo. They are masters of their craft. They take their time, understand the concept of design on skin, adept the weight, speed, and type of the tattoo request. They go beyond, they lose themselves in the art.
