Disabled with a flat tire in New London, 100 miles from home, and well after regular business hours, Gus couldn’t have been more cheerful, helpful and professional. His priority was getting me back on the road safely. He diligently diagnosed the issue with my tire failure and, after trying to patch the tire, he found other defects and wouldn’t let me hit the highway, not feeling confident with the quality and reliability of the repair. I went in to Gus’s at randomly asking if he could repair my car, he immediately responded enthusiastically that he could fit me in the next morning. I went to several other mechanics that didn’t give me as good of a price on the repair and as willing to work with my schedule. My over all experience at Gus’s automotive was great. We were traveling back from Massachusetts to Texas when our car experienced lack of power and the warning light on the dash came on. Not wanting to cause any damage to the vehicle we pulled off on the next exit. It just so happened an automotive store was off the exist. The manager ran a diagnostic test and we purchased the part. She recommended Gus's Motor Sports garage and gave him a call. Gus took us in immediately and determined it was a knock sensor that needed to be replaced. The next four hours Gus worked on the car and even changed our oil so that we could get back on the road. This man and his company were an answer to our prayers in getting back to Texas.
