Veterinary Associates of Westville provides gentle care for dogs and cats. The staff is friendly and conservative with treatment, avoiding unnecessary expensive testing. They are empathetic, thoughtful, and professional, taking good care of pets. While some clients appreciate their services, others note that medication prices may be higher than online prices.
While living in New Haven for my training at YNHH, the main reason I took my dogs here at first was proximity to my home. However, Dr. Kaufman quickly became our family's favorite veterinarian. Always thorough, and could tell she genuinely enjoyed nerding out while explaining canine physiology in human medical terms. The staff is also very responsive, and many times emailed me records on short notice.
So grateful to have this practice here. I’ve had dogs for 42 of my 44 years of my life, so I’ve seen a lot of vets, and this is the best vet practice of all I’ve used. I am always so happy to have Drs Weston, Aldrich and Kaufman helping to make our pets lives better. They’ve helped us with extremely complex conditions. They are competent and caring in all ways.
We started here after our previous vet of 40 years retired. These people are the best! They are practical, friendly, accommodating and have great follow up. I can’t say enough good things. about this practice.
