My Google search for a black-owned flower delivery business in Connecticut brought me to Mae Flower and Gift Shop, and I was even happier to see it was women-owned. My sister-in-law, a black woman, was celebrating a special day and I wanted to support all who endeavor to make a difference in the world. I received excellent customer service and my sister-in-law received a beautiful arrangement. We are both very happy.

I so happy to have learned of Mae’s Flower & Gift Shop. I decided on a sympathy stand arrangement for a funeral, forgetting to consider how short my notice was. As the funeral service was the very next morning! Mae’s was recommended to me by another local florist who unfortunately wasn’t able to complete the order & delivery on such short notice and I am so grateful for that recommendation.
