Seems the Company has difficutly retaining agents. I've been assigned 5 different agents in 20 years. I had to call the main office to cancel a policy because they terminated 5 agents in my area. I sent my cancelation form to the main office only for it to sit almost 3 months while they kept drafting my account. I saw the last debit from my bank account and I then placed another call to them to find out what was going on. They said that an agent in my area was suppose to follow up with me. I never got a call from an agent. Why does an agent need to contact me if I want to cancel a policy? I think it is so they can sell me another policy. Finally got tired of new agents wanting me to change or buy additional coverage simply so they can earn commissions.

I am 36 have previously had a portfolio of 9 insurance policies on myself, my wife and 5 children.

For every child born our first orders of business were: baptism, life insurance.

In October I switched banks and notified my Knights agent. Went through the paperwork. Since then no premiums came out, and my agent seemed either unable or unwilling to troubleshoot issue.

Since I'd started a policy elsewhere on one of my parents and saw how effortless changing financial information COULD and SHOULD be, I decided to surrender our whole portfolio after 9 years.

Today, 2/18/26, several months of back premiums have come out of my bank with no notice or warning.

That's fine. If we owe the money from when contracts were in force, that's fine. A heads up and an explanation as to what was going on in November and December and January I still haven't received. I texted my agent this morning. I can see that it was received, no response, as usual.

Take it from a customer of 9 years, run, do not walk, the other way. Don't do the Order, and DO NOT ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿšซ buy the insurance.

Absolutely zero response related to questions being asked concerning death benefits. Very deceptive work practices all designed not to make payment. The Tennessee council created new accounts for four minors without written nor verbal permission from parents. They refused to address that issue. Recipients of death benefits have been requested to fill out forms. Nope not those forms, new forms need to be filled out. Then weeks later we need additional forms oh sorry not that one this one. It has been a continuous nightmare for five months I would not purchase anything related to life insurance from Knights of Columbus. And the excuses that come with lack of response. It is your only job to provide life insurance and people die all the time you should know how to handle payouts without flip-flopping.

Death Claim benefit seems to be designed to avoid payment. I know this to be true because I am working several death benefit claims all with different companies. KoC is the worst.
Reps are ill-mannered and won't listen.

It's an office building. Not a place designed to host guests or tourists.
