Summary. Recently, Climate Partners proposed & installed a new gas boiler in my house. As a senior citizen, I’ve contracted for numerous home projects—large & small—over the years. Working with Climate Partners has been the most positive experience that I’ve had for any home improvement service, major appliance install or electrical-heating-plumbing project in my life. Client services responsiveness. This episode began when I made an inquiry at Home Depot, asking about boiler parts & repairs. Home Depot contacted three service partners all of whom reached out to me within one business day. The Climate Partners client services manager Brian really listens & he asked several thoughtful questions to understand my situation. He then offered to send either a service tech to repair my boiler or a sales leader to discuss replacement. I opted for the latter due to the age (25+ yrs) & increasing frequency of issues on my old system. Sales acumen, requirements, sizing & bid. The sales exec Mike provided superlative support & guidance. Mike spent more time in the house understanding requirements than any of the other contractors who bid. No one else conducted specific heat loss discussions or inquired in detail about insulation & window-door seals. Altogether, I received 5 bids. The Climate Partner proposal was right in the middle in price, yet offered a higher level of BTU capacity. Let me mention that Mike made himself available before & after the install, following up periodically. He even offered seasoned advice to kindly help me resolve a one-off issue with my local utility. And he jumped in to ensure all aspects of customer satisfaction were covered at each step. Top notch technical leaders. Randall & Alex did the install. They were quiet, confident, competent & friendly throughout. It was a smooth, clean install. Randall also provided extra support by adjusting one of the radiators, which was not in the project scope. In addition, a few days prior to the install, there was an operational issue with the old system. Climate Partners dispatched senior service tech David. It turned out to be electrical issue. David expertly diagnosed & corrected the problem, then spent an additional hour testing various components & connections to ensure everything was operational. The Climate Partner technical team impressed me with high-caliber expertise & thoroughly professional practices. Excellent customer satisfaction warranties & guarantees. The Climate Partners customer satisfaction programs are outstanding. Client services manager Brian explained the 2-year satisfaction guarantee & the 2-year performance guarantee in detail prior to the install. Then, after receiving the full description of their extended maintenance agreement (Total Care Club) in writing, I opted for the multi-year plan because it far exceeds similar offerings from other firms in CT. Further, leveraging the Home Depot partnerships with Climate Partners for services & with Lennox for boilers provided a number of solid advantages: (a) the actual contract is with Home Depot, which adds to my level of comfort knowing the resources that Home Depot can bring in case of any complications; (b) the ten-year warranty from Lennox on all parts is very reassuring; and (c) the Climate Partners satisfaction & performance guarantees along with their Total Care Plan provide a comprehensive services ‘safety net’ for me in case of any issues. Melissa, warranty & contracts specialist, handled all paperwork & made the process very easy. Future plans. Thinking back over these 32 years since I moved to Connecticut, I’ve probably worked with over 12 different contractors for plumbing, heating, a/c & electrical work. I’m delighted to say that, going forward, I’m consolidating all upgrades, major projects & service requests in these areas to one provider—Climate Partners.
