Bespoke the hair salon by Gina lariccia - PERMANENTLY CLOSED

I dont really like to make bad reviews but i have to!! We had an engagement party to go and search online and this business came up with decent reviews!!! From the first time i spoke on the phone she gave me bad vibes but i still make an appointment!! I needed hair amd make up for me and my daughter,is took her 10 minutes do put that make up on my face and the whole time she looked so distracted,i had to point out all her mistakes on my make up,after that said that she needed to call her cousin and left from the room came back 5 minutes later smelling all cigarettes!!! She put some dollars store eyelashes and not fully and none of those eyelashes matched ,everything was falling apart before i left her salon!! I looked terrible and i didn’t say anything because at that point i was late! She did somehow did my daughter hair but when my daughter saw what she did to my face she told her NO! I went home washed my face amd did my make up and hair all over after paying so much money just to look like zombie!! Never again!!!!

Worst customer service experience ever. Came in for a keratin treatment and this was the result, some parts completely straight others curly. After contacting Gina she made an appointment to fix it. She ended up cancelling me same day twice with no intention of fixing this. $300 and messed up hair… do not recommend!!

Requested style: I got what’s called the wolf cut on social media, which is basically a layered blunt cut and the style that I’d previously worn for years but was suddenly something the many, many hairdressers I went to couldn’t do. Gina executed it in SPECTACULAR form! I am so thrilled with my new haircut and I booked my next haircut BEFORE I left the salon. She also cut my (adult) son’s hair and she gave him a super stylish cut that looks like he belongs on the cover of GQ. I cannot say enough great things about the magic she works with hair. What a breath of fresh air after years of one disappointing haircut after another. Ladies, gentlemen if you aren’t happy with your current hair stylist, or just want a change to update your look, try Gina at Bespoke—I promise you will not regret it.

Stylist: I found Gina’s Bespoke website and that was the first clue that I was going to be super happy-everything I needed to know was right there. She’s completely transparent about what she does and what each service costs. I was very happy with that. I then called to speak to her and explain what I wanted done and she was extremely knowledgeable, professional and she shared her professional training (which is incredibly impressive!)

I have tried to find a hairstylist who cuts my hair the way I ask for DECADES-without exaggerating-and I finally found the one! I moved to Connecticut in my mid 20s and was surprised that I had such a hard time finding a decent hairstylist. I'd had no problem getting decent cuts in the state in which I grew up but soon discovered that each stylist I tried in CT would cut my hair super short, like chin length, when I'd walk into the salon with my hair well past my shoulders. I always left in tears and thankfully my hair grew back pretty quickly. As the years went by, I got my hair cut less and less, opting to just wear updos because I could not find a stylist to simply layer my hair in a shag cut-which they all tell me is a very easy hairstyle to execute, although none of them were ever able to perform on me. My last two haircuts in 2020 and the end of 2021 were also disasters and both stylists (different salons), did what I specifically asked them NOT to do, leaving me with my wavy/curly-ish hair cut almost to my ears. Fast forward to May 2024 and I simply cannot stand to keep wearing my hair up and I search Google for hairstylists in my area, and I find Bespoke The Salon by Gina. I called and talked with her, going into detail about how difficult it has been for me to get a very simple haircut. I got a very good, upbeat, honest vibe from Gina and I made my appointment for the very next day. First, I absolutely LOVE the salon suite she's in. It's semi private, beautifully decorated and just made me feel very comfortable, relaxed and calm. Gina looks the part of a glamorous hairstylist so I knew that was a great sign. She listened to my requests, explained exactly what she was going to do and kept me informed every step of the way. Most importantly she answered EVERY question and responded to my every request! When she was finished I had EXACTLY the haircut that I'd been asking stylists to give me for over 25 years but never got. I was so thrilled that I almost cried tears of joy! I finally looked like MYSELF again! This cut really compliments my face shape, hair texture and personality. It is the perfect cut for me that will allow me to get ready in the morning without spending hours try to make My hair look presentable because it was just an outgrown mess from incompetent cuts. What's even better is that my husband loves the way it looks and raved about how beautiful I look and how I look the way I did when we first met-yes, this hairstyle is THAT flattering on me. I will 100% be going to Gina from now on and booked my next cut before I even left her suite. I highly recommend this super talented, amazing stylist to anyone who is looking for an amazing haircut and styling by a hairstylist who actually listens! My (adult) son went with me and got a haircut also and she did an outstanding job styling his hair as well. My entire experience with Bespoke and Gina was top-notch in every way from my initial call to booking my next appointment. Thank you Gina!!! You have a customer for life!

Gina consistently delivers! She does a great job of giving you exactly what you want based on an inspiration photo and also providing expert advice. Her new location in Milford is clean and comfortable, not to mention so much great shopping across the street! Between her perfect haircuts and lovely new space I won’t go to any other hairdresser!

I love Gina more than words can possibly express, she always knows exactly what to do with minimal explanation. She goes above and beyond every time she touches my hair. She is the only stylist I trust and I'm willing to travel for. Never once judged my choices, always hypes you up, amazing conversation and energy. Goes the extra mile to make sure you're happy. I simply told her green and black with a few inspo photos and she nailed it, added a few hidden highlights, complimented the integrity of my hair, and how fast it grew when she cut and shaved half of it off 2 years ago. I have extreme anxiety with hairdressers but Gina? I'd ride at dawn for her. She's worth every penny, she's incredibly talented, has a knack for making the little details pop, she's amazing to talk and joke with, she's outspoken and so incredibly talented. She has endless knowledge, doesn't push to up sell, she does what you want. She clearly loves what she does, and there is no one in this state that I would have doing my hair. Love you girl, I'll see you soon and thank you a million times over for making my hair dreams come true even if it took 3 years to get done!!! ??Specialties: If you want vivids, this is your girl, self taught but has an immaculate eye for making it look flawless and she knows her techniques. Her shampoo is top notch and her head massages? I am beyond happy with the hair services I've received from Gina at Bespoke Hair Salon in Milford. As a professional makeup artist and esthetician (and a bit of a perfectionist, haha), I'm kind of hard to impress. And boy I have been so impressed with her skills, knowledge and results. She actually listens to what you want. I also love all of the top trending services she offers, like her HALO Couture Hair Extensions, which I believe are going to be a big hit with brides and everyday women as well. Thanks Gina!
