“The staff of MVC are awesome. I find that the doctors are knowledgeable and care about my pets. I was very impressed with Dr Laufer. She examined Sasha on 01/20/2026 and noticed her bumps throughout her body. I find the doctor was more thorough and measured her bumps. I was concerned with my last couple of visits but the doctors were not concerned at the time. I think measuring the bumps made sense so we can monitor and compare for her future visits. Thank you to Dr Laufer for being more thorough and helping us get through Sasha’s visit. I hope to see Dr Laufer on our next visit to MVC. ?✌???“

“Dr Roy and her whole staff always make our visits feel as if we're part of a family...a home away from home, when my furry baby needs a little tune up. The travel time to Tolland is worth it, compared to being charged an arm and leg and then pressured to over-vaccinate, etc, at other vets. The doctors were very informative, told me information in a way I could easily understand, and really put me at ease. I have been taking my pets here for about 15 years now. I don't see myself ever going anywhere else.
They are friendly, gentle with your pets, and honest. They don't just suggest you have things done to your pets so they make money.
They lay out your options and the cost of each and let you decide pressure free, and they answer all your questions.
I love them, best veterinary clinic I've ever taken my animals to.“

“Love this practice! Got transferred after AMC in Manchester closed, and haven't been happier. “THIS is the place to have your pet put to sleep. I was heartbroken by the sudden loss of my male cat (C), & I waited until after hours to take him in.
It was so nice & quiet, & the staff so genuinely comforting. Yeah, it cost a bit more, but worth every penny. And they took care of everything thereafter for what I thought was a VERY reasonable fee. Bravo Bolton Vet !!!“

“We’ve been clients here since 2022 when we adopted a ‘super senior’ cat and needed to establish care for her, and have since transferred care to Catzablanca for the other two cats we have. I appreciate that most of their appointments are ‘cat parking’ where you drop them off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. I believe this gives them more time to do a thorough exam/provide services, and just makes things easier schedule-wise. They also offer traditional timed appointments, which I can understand some people may be more comfortable with based on some other reviews. I have always received a quote leading up to an appointment, even with the few last minute emergency trips that have been needed. They are extremely thorough and will jump through hoops to help find a solution, whether it be changing food, medication administration, or just offering general advice if you have a question. Their in house testing capabilities are great, as that helps get some answers sooner than later. I have never felt pressured to have a service provided that may be recommended. And if it is something that should be in serious consideration, they have always helped establish a care plan. While yes, costs can seem high, but that is unfortunately across the board for a lot of other practices. (Pets can’t tell you what’s wrong with them so it takes a little more to figure out what’s going on ☺️). I have nothing but respect for the staff there. They have been incredible whether it’s boarding while having to travel, all the way to offering additional support when it was time for our super senior to cross the rainbow bridge. They pick up on your pets personality quirks, and take the time to interact with them while under their care, which shows how invested they are in everyone that walks through the door. 10/10.“

“I don’t know how to express my gratitude. My dog is still alive (with excellent quality of life) almost 2 years after being told to euthanize him, and being treated poorly at 2 other vets. Dr. Nock took us on for what we thought was palliative care, but is stuck with us because she’s too good at her job. She, and the staff, listen.“

“Our fur baby Simba was seen 2x over the weekend at Bolton. Unfortunately, while Simba had to cross the Rainbow Bridge, all the staff at Bolton Veterinary Hospital were so very kind, caring, and compassionate. The first evening, Dr. Badeau was so kind with Simba and so caring with us about why he thought was going on. He was able to provide us with the care that we and our little man needed. On the second evening, as Simba declined further, we had Dr. Kopec. She was so kind and caring as she was giving us the options left for him. When we made the extremely difficult decision to let Simba go, Dr. Kopec walked us through each part of the process. We were able to hold him as he passed over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Kopec’s demeanor through the entire process was that out of the utmost respect for our baby ❤️ Thank you, Bolton Veterinary Hospital, for allowing us to say goodbye to Simba in the way we needed to! ❤️“
