I have used Hygrade for both installation and repair of several heating and cooling units over the years, and I cannot say enough good things about them.I respectfully disagree with the critical comments. On multiple occasions other contractors comment about how precise and professional our installation was.What prompts this review is that we had our air conditioner break down during a heatwave, and Hygrade was gracious enough to squeeze us in and come out the same day to fix it. Wow. Only 1 review and it's only one star. I'm surprised as heck.My neighbors highly recommended Hygrade to install mini-split heating and air conditioner units in my 1800 sqft home. We have radiators so traditional central air would not have worked for us. We got the quote quickly, they scheduled us quickly and did the job...quickly. We received 5 units inside the house. One which will cool our kitchen, living and dining rooms. One in our band rehearsal room and three in our bedrooms. The outside unit is on the same side of the house as most of the indoor units. Completely satisfied with the work of Steve, Jason R. (HVAC Master Tech), and team. They gave us a competitive quote with better higher cost furnace and heat pump than competitors. Work was completed on time, the crew were extremely professional and dealt with some challenging issues in our 90 year old West Hartford home. They did work for our neighbors (who were completely satisfied) and now after they replaced our entire heating/AC System (30 years old) we are also.
