“Tami Le is amazing at the DevaCurl cut! I donated 8" of hair a few months ago and now I love having short, curly hair. She knows what she's doing to provide these kind of results with my thick, difficult hair! She educates you on how to care for your hair and the products she carries but in no way pressures you to buy anything. As someone who used to be ok with getting trims at those cheap chain places, I now won't go anywhere else. In addition to Tami Le's lovely personality, the ambiance is relaxing and rustic, you'd never know the turnpike was out there, but it makes it easy to get to! Curly haired girls, there is a difference between a regular haircut and a DevaCurl, so treat yourself to your best hair!Summer 2023 Update! “I started coming to Caroline after not being satisfied with a prior med spa. She is awesome at what she does and explains everything while also taking a natural approach. I also find that her pricing strategy gives the client more value and not having the pressure of feeling like they have to commit to a certain set “amount” of whatever treatment they are getting, which was something I didn’t like about my prior med spa. She was also very helpful with a skin issue that I was having which wasn’t part of my planned appointment but she was more than happy to help me.I highly recommend her to anyone of any age whether you are just looking to preserve youthful features or have more complex needs. “Very easy scheduling. Due to her busy schedule she prefers booking directly off her IG: @beautybarbyjanet but she is also happy to accept calls in between clients. Her chic salon is in the high-end of West Hartford in the Blue Back Square in the Marshalls plaza, so ample free parking. She has elevator services that’ll take you up to her suite, concierge can walk you down to her. She is always happy to see her clients and honestly it feels like visiting a good friend. The loft is super cute and very inviting. Her lashing is superb, i loved that she listened to what I envisioned and she was super professional in her recommendations to protect the integrity of my natural lashes. I have gone to a LOT of technicians and honestly I immediately could tell the difference in going to a certified tech vs going to her who is licensed. My lashes lasted 3-4 weeks before I needed a mini fill. Her prices are reasonable compared to others. The music is always on point, the deep relaxation is immediate when you arrive. I’ll continue to go to her. Def recommend.“

I made another appointment in 2 weeks for a color change..The only thing that could have been better was their need for air conditioning. It was a 90 degree day and felt humid. They left the door open and just had a few fans. I luckily was next to one of the fans but they really should invest in actual air conditioning.“

“First of all, I'll be honest and say I don't know where to begin. I love these two and their nail shop. I was a first time customer and didn't know you needed to book an appointment. Even though they could have sent me away, they saw me anyways. They were very understanding and informative. They also took the time to listen to me as well.T & J are so sweet. I love how well focused and intricate J is. She takes her time and knows what she's doing. I would highly recommend coming here. They make you feel at home! I love them! They have a regular here. Oh! Their services are fairly priced too.“
