“I had never visited Uponavon Nail Spa, but my daughter goes there often. I accompanied her one day to have a "Spa Day" together and had an excellent experience there. They did exactly what I asked for. At Christmastime, I purchased a gift card for my daughter, and they had an excellent offer that gave you more for your money, i.e., $120 worth of services for $100. The staff is amiable and accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about them.“

“Tami Le is amazing at the DevaCurl cut! I donated 8" of hair a few months ago and now I love having short, curly hair. She knows what she's doing to provide these kind of results with my thick, difficult hair! She educates you on how to care for your hair and the products she carries but in no way pressures you to buy anything. As someone who used to be ok with getting trims at those cheap chain places, I now won't go anywhere else. In addition to Tami Le's lovely personality, the ambiance is relaxing and rustic, you'd never know the turnpike was out there, but it makes it easy to get to! Curly haired girls, there is a difference between a regular haircut and a DevaCurl, so treat yourself to your best hair!Summer 2023 Update! Did my 3rd hair donation chop w/Tami Le and was thrilled with the results! “I started coming to Caroline after not being satisfied with a prior med spa. She is awesome at what she does and explains everything while also taking a natural approach. I also find that her pricing strategy gives the client more value and not having the pressure of feeling like they have to commit to a certain set “amount” of whatever treatment they are getting, which was something I didn’t like about my prior med spa. She was also very helpful with a skin issue that I was having which wasn’t part of my planned appointment but she was more than happy to help me.I highly recommend her to anyone of any age whether you are just looking to preserve youthful features or have more complex needs. I could not be happier with my results“

“Anthony was unbelievable, very professional, SO artistic and vey particular of his beautiful work!!Very attentive to being very sanitary and changed gloves multiple times, he loves what he does and knows!Where I had NO nipple, he created a 3 dimensional one and took his time as he is such a perfectionist!!He even touched up other botched nipple so they were more uniform!!His wife who does wonderful work was there and treated me to lunch there, so sweet. She takes her time to do it right, she has a steady hand, is personable and always very polite.I like Sandy's work so much that I went to her for my wedding day nails and she didn't disappoint!Stylux has a user friendly online scheduling system and an array of colors to choose from. I got a pedicure done once so far and plan on going back for another. They also have other services that I haven't yet tapped into but they're definitely worth a try if you're looking for a salon. They take the time to do a good job and will let you know if something may not be healthy for your nails at that time. I appreciate that because a lot of places will file down so low the nail becomes so brittle and damaged. They also did a great job overall with the design and the process was relaxing. “Very easy scheduling. Due to her busy schedule she prefers booking directly off her IG: @beautybarbyjanet but she is also happy to accept calls in between clients. Her chic salon is in the high-end of West Hartford in the Blue Back Square in the Marshalls plaza, so ample free parking. She has elevator services that’ll take you up to her suite, concierge can walk you down to her. She is always happy to see her clients and honestly it feels like visiting a good friend. The loft is super cute and very inviting. Her lashing is superb, i loved that she listened to what I envisioned and she was super professional in her recommendations to protect the integrity of my natural lashes. I have gone to a LOT of technicians and honestly I immediately could tell the difference in going to a certified tech vs going to her who is licensed. My lashes lasted 3-4 weeks before I needed a mini fill. Her prices are reasonable compared to others. The music is always on point, the deep relaxation is immediate when you arrive. I’ll continue to go to her. Def recommend.“
