After unexpectedly losing our mother, I reached out to Hillary to explain our family's wishes. She made sure I was able to meet with Peter the same day. Even before our meeting, she began working on arrangements to fit our timeline. When I met Peter, I immediately realized he was there for us, ready to do everything he could to make this difficult process as smooth as possible. He guided us through each step with both efficiency and, most importantly, compassion. Peter is the kind of person you meet and instantly recognize as a genuinely kind-hearted soul. I could go on about how wonderful he was, but at a time when life feels overwhelming and full of emotion, the team at Hamden Funeral Home will not add to that burden. Instead, they will take care of everything so you can focus on grieving and being with your family. My family and I can not thank Peter and his team enough for being so great.“

When our family member passed away, it was our family’s first real death where we had to make the arrangements and handle the 'business' end of things.  We found that that’s the last thing you want do during these times. Stefanie, Richard and all the others were amazing and made this process as easy and stress-free as possible for us.   Their patience and thoughtfulness and support helped us through that difficult time.  A special thank you to Stefanie for giving us the time to say goodbye to our loved one even though it was 1:30 in the morning when she came to take care of him.  Never once did we feel pressured or alone and will be forever grateful.
