“A little further from my house than my previous vet, who was great for the last 20 years until they got bought out. It was worth, he drive. I'd give them a 10 if I could. Old school, no nonsense approach was refreshing. Got to spend the entire time with my dog during the appointment. They gave my dog the tests he needed, and didn't try to push loads of extras like some of the newer vets do. I will be most certainly be going back for future care.“

The vet techs are the same - they care about the animals they see. The receptionist (Dawn) is competent and just generally a nice person. The atmosphere is non-stressful, quiet and NOT chaotic - my dogs do not mind going to the vet!“

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Veterinary Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, Dr. Stephanie Torlone, and Kellee. Our sweet Luna had always hated going to the vet — hiding under chairs and refusing treats the moment we walked through the door. Cancer treatments had been hard on her and on us, and we were just hoping to bring her some comfort.

From the moment we arrived, the difference was night and day. The space felt warm, calm, and inviting, not like the cold, rushed environment we’d experienced elsewhere. During our first visit, Luna stayed tucked under the chair, but by the second, she walked in on her own, curled up on the comfy blankets on the floor, and actually relaxed during her acupuncture treatment. It was incredible to see her find peace again.

When the time came to say goodbye, Dr. Torlone and Kellee made it as gentle and loving as possible. They encouraged us to bring Luna’s favorite foods and comfort items, and they created a quiet, peaceful space for our family to be together. It didn’t feel clinical — it felt like saying goodbye at home, surrounded by people who truly cared.

We’ve been to many vets over the years, but this experience was the most compassionate and humane we’ve ever had. Dr. Torlone and Kellee aren’t just medical professionals — they’re healers with huge hearts, and we’ll forever be grateful for the comfort they gave Luna and our family.“

“We called at 12:15 on Christmas Eve because our dog cracked her nail and it was in a spot we were concerned wouldn't stop bleeding. They were finishing up a patient and closing soon because of thr holiday but they still let us come in. They were able to sedate our dog, remove the nail and get us medication and out the door in less than an hour. We are so thankful they stayed a little late to help us as upon driving by the emergency vet in Middletown on the way to a family gathering a few hours later we saw a packed parking lot and I know we would have been there literally all day and night if we had to go there. I know the bill would have been at least double there as well.

“My Siberian husky strained her back on New Year's Eve. She was in so much pain she could barely walk. Dr. Torlone relaxed her with the laser therapy and followed it with accupuncture. One week later she was back to her normal behavior and happy to be moving without pain. The treatment helped her to heal quickly and completely. She received excellent care here, we highly recommend it!“

An old vet I had would threaten to charge a cancellation fee and cancel on you if you were more than 10 minutes late, I called Madison Vet running behind they were so understanding, no fees held over my head! They understand you can love your pet and be on a budget and will explain any costs to you, which are lower than what I have been quoted at other places. Thank you Dr Hall and team for giving me and Bosco a safe space to discuss health concerns at reasonable costs. Worth the 40 minute drive to see Bosco's happy tail on arrival.
