So....I guess the important thing first - as haircuts go, buzzing a guy isn't hard and they did a good enough job. But $50 to shave a guy's head with some clippers? I was in the chair for 12 minutes. Twelve. Minutes. Brah. Downtown Greenwich prices may be fine for Mr Howell and Lovey but I could get a guy kidnapped in Indonesia for that price. Sheesh ... for $50 it had better have been the best hair cutting experience I have ever enjoyed. It was not. I'm surprised they didn't offer financing. It's a haircut, not a summer home. Whatever. A regular men's haircut in Greenwich is going to range from $35 to easily over $100. I've been to several high-end barbers in the area and am less than impressed with the service and quality for the price point.I typically prefer a full-service barbershop, but services amid the pandemic are limited no matter where you go.... So if you need a quick, no-frills, barber that's easily available on short notice then I'd definitely encourage anyone to check out Classic Barber.
