Alterations at Nordstrom

I brought in 1 formal dress, a jumpsuit and 2 pairs of pants to be hemmed (all non-Nordstrom garments). Donna was very patient and thorough in pinning up all of the garments and ensuring proper fit. I also didn't realize that Nordstrom's alterations department offers to ship the items back to you for free- this was a huge bonus for me, as I live out of state. I paid under $200 for all of the alterations and ironing plus shipping, which I thought was a great deal. Can't recommend Nordstrom tailoring enough!

I enjoy shopping at Nordstrom. The store is beautiful and always so clean! The staff is nice too. Great coffee shop. St. John for Women has a nice selection, the only store in the area that carries this high end brand. Nice fragrance department too. However, they don't carry Chanel, Ferragamo, or Moncler! Also, why did they remove the grand piano on the second floor? I remember shopping at this store when it first opened in 1997. It was such a wonderful experience to have live piped-in piano music! Please bring it back!

I do not shop here often, as I am more of an online shopper. Today we came by to just get a few new things for my upcoming trip. The staff here is very welcoming and friendly, store is well organized. One thing that does bother me is the smell of rubber by the escalators. This has been going on forever, it does not stop me from spending but wish it was addressed.
