I used Blissful Beauty for my wedding day hair and makeup, and they did an excellent job! They made sure to schedule me to make sure I was ready and out the door in timing that worked for me. Because I was having my makeup done alone, their prices were much more reasonable and their beautiful work station made the experience comfortable. Lily and Fallon worked well to give me a beautiful look for my special day! I recommend them to those around southern CT in need of bridal beauty and spa services. I am so glad I found them!
I am very pleased with the knowledge of the PT Personnel. They spend sufficient time with you and provide illustrated pictures of the exercises you are doing. They are knowledgeable and spend a great deal of time working with you.

We had an issue with our septic system in Old Saybrook and called Finkeldey Septic at the recommendation of a plumber we had used. John did a fantastic job pumping & inspecting the system…..it hadn’t been cleaned that well since it was installed many years ago. He inspected the pipes & leaching fields with his camera system and assured us that the septic system was in good working order. Outstanding & fast, reliable service! If you aren’t using Finkeldey Septic, you aren’t using the BEST. HIGHLY recommended!

The work I had done by Cool Breeze went right. My 1977 house with electric baseboard heat needed an upgrade! Cool Breeze came on time, spec'ed out a whole-house mini-split ac/heat system. They sent me a detailed written quote a day later. I checked into things and the price was very fair. I agreed to the job. They coordinated w/ my electrician, showed up two weeks later, stayed with me for three days til finished. They were masked and careful re Covid, and left the place clean like theyd never been there, except for my new system! After 6 weeks of zero-hassle excellent heat, I thought i should write. I love Polished, and have been going to Lauren for my glabella BOTOX for years. Even after we moved to NC, I still schedule my appointments there when we go back to CT for visits. I tried 2 other med spas where we are in the Charlotte area, but neither compared to Lauren and her staff with the results! I will stick with Polished always!

Dr Rotella is our family dentist and he has an excellent practice. All of his staff is very friendly and thorough. The staff are great with kids as well. My daughter (5 years old) always looks forward to her dentist appointments. I cannot say enough great things about Dr Rotella and his staff!

All the appointments I have had at the Essex office we great, never any waiting. Everyone is always happy and polite. Dr. Lorenze was great, I had rotator cuff surgery and my recovery was fast and pain free.
I was in town for a wedding, and got a haircut, blowout, and styling. Curls never stay in my hair but Cherise got them to last through the night and even a few days after. Great experience! I recommend bringing cash to pay.
Sean has helped me tremendously, both with accelerating the recovery of a fracture and relieving pain from a shoulder impingement. He is extremely knowledgeable about Chinese medicine. I always learn something new. I really appreciate his flexibility with scheduling and his follow up. He truly cares about helping his patients heal.

This is such a wonderful shop. So many beautiful and unique things. We picked up several gifts for friends and family. We enjoyed browsing but kept interrupting each other with ' Oh, look, did you see this!? So pretty, so cute!'. We can't wait to return for an artist reception.
Had some water leaking from our mini split and called Benedetto heating. Have not been a customer. First heatwave of the summer and they still managed to fit me in within 24 hours. Came out, took care of the problem. Very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend
Now.. a 5 star review for a nail salon has never happened for me. I have sadly been dissatisfied more than I’ve been pleased with nail salons. But here at Essex Nail Spa I actually loved my nails so much I had to leave a review. I WISH I got the lady’s name who did my nails because she was amazing. They took me as a walk in right away and the woman who did my nails really took her time with me and they came out PERFECT!! Nail shape is important to me because I like them short, but my fingers are a little on the sausage side.. lol. So shaping is important to help create the illusion of longer, slimmer fingers. She was so precise and absolutely NAILed the almond shape ? I am actually from Bristol, CT which is about 45 minutes away from Essex. I was in the area visiting a friend and decided to stop in for a fill-in. Needless to say, I will be coming back to Essex to get my nails done again because no salon near my area has ever impressed me this much. And the price was so fair! I paid $45! Salons near me charge way more than this for not even half the quality. Can’t wait for my next set already ?

We switched to Riverline Pools several years ago, and are very happy we did. Since then, they've done all our openings and closings, replaced our old single-speed pump with a more efficient variable-speed pump, and taken care of a few other service calls along the way. I've always found them to be quick to respond, easy to deal with, and the quality of their work is excellent. Their prices are also the best I've found anywhere in our area. This is not a big fancy company with high overhead and a huge staff -- just a dependable small business you can count on.

I’ve been taking my 93 year old mom here for a few years, having tried others around Essex and Killingworth. She’s happy with them, which is a blessing. She gets a simple manicure, so I can’t speak to the fancier services, but they always are happy to see her and fit her in.
