“Where can I even begin?! Susan is a literal genius. I went to LUXE for my first time today after a Facebook recommendation at her new location in Somers. It’s such a cute spot. You’re 1:1 with Susan who is incredibly personable and there’s never an awkward silence. She educates you about your skin and makes you part of the choices. She sells all the products she uses so that if you really love something, you have the opportunity to bring it home with you!For 35$ I had my brows waxed, and shaped. They were ratchet and long overdue. She taught me how to fill them in with the perfect eye pencil. This all included a hand treatment which was lovely. With the little extra time she had she applied her matte mineral powder to my face which literally took away all my redness and applied mascara and eyeliner for me! I felt SO beautiful when I left there and I was SO happy that I was able to purchase that matte powder to take home.I will never go anywhere else ever again for my brows. The customer service is superior and Susan is great! HIGHLY recommend.I didn’t take a before picture of myself but I attached an unfiltered after photo!Thanks Susan!“

“Very easy scheduling. Due to her busy schedule she prefers booking directly off her IG: @beautybarbyjanet but she is also happy to accept calls in between clients. Her chic salon is in the high-end of West Hartford in the Blue Back Square in the Marshalls plaza, so ample free parking. She has elevator services that’ll take you up to her suite, concierge can walk you down to her. She is always happy to see her clients and honestly it feels like visiting a good friend. The loft is super cute and very inviting. Her lashing is superb, i loved that she listened to what I envisioned and she was super professional in her recommendations to protect the integrity of my natural lashes. I have gone to a LOT of technicians and honestly I immediately could tell the difference in going to a certified tech vs going to her who is licensed. My lashes lasted 3-4 weeks before I needed a mini fill. Her prices are reasonable compared to others. The music is always on point, the deep relaxation is immediate when you arrive. I’ll continue to go to her. Def recommend.“

She listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted! The salon is a little outdated but the service outweighed that. The prices are awesome! I have 45+ thick curly, ethnic hair. The color was amazing I don’t know how she managed to blend my darker brown hair roots with the lighter brown color I already had. Without getting highlights she blended the new darker color with the old lighter color to give my hair detention/highlights. Something I would have never been able to do. Looking forward! And she cuts it dry how I like it. My hair is curly so if it's wet I can't see the actual finished product. I love how she tells me what I'm doing wrong and how I'm damaging my hair.
