“I loved my experience at this Salon! The stylist I scheduled with initially was sick that day. The salon gave me the option of having another stylist, or rescheduling. I took the 2nd stylist who turned out to be wonderful. Ashlyn was cheerful and kind - and even did not blink when I told her I had been cutting my own hair and it probably was going to need some major reshaping. That's exactly what she did. I have curly hair, and she was clearly very skilled. I loved my hair immediately and still love it 2 weeks later! This salon has warm and friendly atmosphere, and I left with a couple of free product gifts!! (I love free stuff!) I will definitely be back and can highly recommend this salon and Ashlyn!“

“Very easy scheduling. Due to her busy schedule she prefers booking directly off her IG: @beautybarbyjanet but she is also happy to accept calls in between clients. Her chic salon is in the high-end of West Hartford in the Blue Back Square in the Marshalls plaza, so ample free parking. She has elevator services that’ll take you up to her suite, concierge can walk you down to her. She is always happy to see her clients and honestly it feels like visiting a good friend. The loft is super cute and very inviting. Her lashing is superb, i loved that she listened to what I envisioned and she was super professional in her recommendations to protect the integrity of my natural lashes. I have gone to a LOT of technicians and honestly I immediately could tell the difference in going to a certified tech vs going to her who is licensed. My lashes lasted 3-4 weeks before I needed a mini fill. Her prices are reasonable compared to others. The music is always on point, the deep relaxation is immediate when you arrive. I’ll continue to go to her. Def recommend.“

“I 100% recommend this salon!!! It was my first time visiting. The owner and her husband are so friendly and just genuine people . The owners niece Meg colored, cut and blow dried my hair! She listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted! The salon is a little outdated but the service outweighed that. The prices are awesome! I have 45+ thick curly, ethnic hair. The color was amazing I don’t know how she managed to blend my darker brown hair roots with the lighter brown color I already had. Without getting highlights she blended the new darker color with the old lighter color to give my hair detention/highlights. Something I would have never been able to do. Looking forward! And she cuts it dry how I like it. My hair is curly so if it's wet I can't see the actual finished product. I love how she tells me what I'm doing wrong and how I'm damaging my hair. Valerio (spelled wrong I’m certain) one of the owners was exceptionally knowledgeable. He explained different processes and why he chose what he did. No smells assailed me and the offers of may I get you anything or are you comfortable continued all evening. The work he did was phenomenal and the price point fair and consistent with others. I felt extremely comfortable and already booked another appointment. I highly recommend Milanos Salon. I look forward to trying all of their many services.
