“This staff is truly WONDERFUL! They care very deeply about the animals in their care and each of them are dedicated to helping animals to the highest degree. Now this is a EMERGENCY Hospital and 24hours so it's not cheap and you should be prepared for the expense that comes w emergency care in order to save your animals life or better it in the way most needed. But I wouldn't have changed a thing about choosing VCA as they saved my amazingly wonderful cat who is like my child. My wife and I LOVE VCA and it's whole Staff! Thank you VCA for being Amazing!!!“

“Countryside Vet took great care of our pup for 14 of her 17 1/2 years. When we first brought Annaliesa in with very bad stomach issues, Dr. Jim Micinillio really took the time to figure out what the underlying issues were and gave her a livable life….which turned into an amazing long life. Dr. Shael Littleton figured out some of her skin issues and did a great job with her. Dr. Jeffrey Santee took great care of her during the elderly years, and provided some amazing and sensitive guidance on how/when to deal with the end of life. The staff has always been so very helpful and we really do appreciate it.“

I moved to Naugatuck in 2019 and drove an hour to my vet in Milford I was familiar with because I was worried to change and find a vet I liked as much as the one I was use to.Fast forward to my two new puppies I was determined to find a vet that was closer to home that I trusted and loved as much as my last vet.Country Companions did not disappoint. They are attentive and caring. You don’t feel like a factory line of dogs in and out. It feels like personalized attention. The puppies were happy and comfortable. They were stars of the office and got all the loving from the people there !One other thing I love that most vets I found don’t have or offer is an after hours emergency number. Not for after hours service but if you have questions or unsure if it requires an emergency room visit there is someone on call. I can’t tell you how many times I wonder or worry when it’s after hours on the right thing to do ! So it’s added peace of mind.Front desk ladies are also great and friendly. They shouldn’t be forgotten in this ! They make the experience from every phone call to payment at the end.“

“My dog was very sick, she had eaten into her lipoma and was slowly dying from it, I called all over trying to get an appointment and either most places were booked out until February or even September, or they weren't accepting new patients... I finally found oxford veterinary hospital and they were so accommodating and friendly. I had to wait till after Christmas, but once I was in for the exam, they decided to do the surgery right then and there!! I was very happy with their service, care and price wasn't an arm and a leg!Thank you all so much for giving my old lady pup a few more good years with me ?“

“I would just like to give a huge shoutout to local Southbury business, and our vet, Dr.Mary O’Donnel and all of the staff at our vet Maple Ridge Animal Clinic. They have treated both of my dogs but have taken special care of my 5 year old boxer mix Snoopy. Snoopy has had several cancerous mast cell tumors in his short life and Mary has always taken the time to be fair, knowledgeable and thorough with me. She explains all options and always chooses what is best for his overall health and longevity. One of the biggest things for me is my dog LOVES them, I know when I leave him that he is in the utmost best of care. To me that peace of mind is priceless. The facility is immaculate and though some have said the pricing is high, I find it comparable and completely in line with the level of service. I highly recommend them for all of your pet needs.“

“I can only start this review in one way: They saved my cat. My cat has been a sick baby since she was born. After being to a couple of places, where we were told that our cat was not going to make it or where the vets didn't even bother that much because "she was a lost case", we found Dr. Arcuri. She was so kind, so knowledgeable and did everything to improve my cat's life. She really did the impossible. Now, our cat is a very healthy and playful animal, that happens to have EPI - completely under control. If it wasn't for them, I do not think she would be with us today.
