Have not played there for 6 years or so but played there often when i 18 to 30 years old ! Im from the area ! The course lay out is awesome , the conditions are usually great but the people here that run it treat it like a country club. The person that gave this course to danbury ct had stated it could never be used as a country club so the way the club got around that was to treat the people of danbury special and crap on out of towners especially thru there fee schedule! This has lead to the town of danbury people having a country club at there disposal !!

It can not be understated how fantastic the staff and hospitality of richter park golf course is. From top to bottom their care, attention to detail, selflessness and effort are unmatched. From Jon Pinto the pro who has such a thumb on the pulse of what it takes to be a modern golf pro, to the immaculate course maintenance, to the fantastic food and beverage service staff, this has to be one of the top public golf course not just in Fairfield county but all of Connecticut. Affordable.
