I’ve been coming to Pete’s North End Barber Shop since I was 8 years old in 1986. Pete was an amazing & highly respected man who cut my hair for many years. Loved talking to him about everything including life, soccer (his Italy vs my Portugal), and vinho. I used to bring him a couple gallons of my uncle’s home made wine every year as he loved it. Miss him a lot. God Rest His Soul. His son Mike has been cutting my hair for many years now and every cut has been outstanding. We’ve swapped soo many stories and laughs. I'm not sure about this barbershop as a whole because I only went here once, but I'm writing this review of Donna. I've been to countless barbers in my life and I have to say that Donna might be the best I've ever been to. I can tell that she's really passionate about cutting hair and she even double checks everything after she's done to make sure everything is perfect and no mistakes were made. Most barbershops want to get you in and get you out ASAP, but I felt like Donna would have been willing to spend an hour cutting my hair if I wasn't initially satisfied with it. Been going here for 9 years. My father found the place. He goes to Steve, who is amazing, and I go to Mike, who is also amazing. It's that old school Barber, and they're skilled, friendly and patient. You'll NEVER wait long there.
