“I couldn't recommend this office enough. The staff is efficient and pleasant, the frames are well curated, and most of all, Dr Singh is a very high quality optometrist. He is so sharp, thorough, explains things in depth, and just takes his work very seriously. He caught very early signs of an unusual condition, normal tension glaucoma, for which he referred me to a glaucoma specialist opthalmologist. That doctor was so impressed that Dr Singh caught this, and it allowed her to treat it while in it's infancy rather than after I already noticed vision loss.“

“I have been seeing Dr Sklar for about 14 years now.He can make a prescription by simply looking at how my eye looks through the lenses, better than I can by telling him which variation of lens is better.I am at the point in my life that I value my time at a crazy rate, and ~40 min drive one way is just unacceptable, but I could not find anybody as good closer to home. (I tried some optometrist in Ridgefield, CT.) Another thing about optometrists in my geographical area is charging unreasonable amounts for glasses: we are talking $500 for _just_ a frame with ~yr2017 prices, i.e. before the inflation. Frames and lenses here are reasonably priced, and I can always find a nice looking frame within $300 ~yr2023 (and I am picky!).“

They were incredibly patient with her, instructed her on contact lens insertion and identified the need for a change in the prescription of her eyeglasses. “Was greeted immediately upon walking in by the front end manager, who was also training a young lady. The tech handling the preliminary eye tests was professional, well acquainted with the machines and breezed right through them.... like 8 of them. I can't remember doing so many different tests on an annual eye exam. This place is state of the art. Dr Cindy likewise used state of the art machines during her exam. She also had direct access to the raw data and results that the technician had just gathered. Dr Cindy is young and very intelligent, will be practicing for many more years to come- so I think it's settled. She's going to be my primary optometrist. Afterwards, the same Manager, a rather attractive young woman, I might add- and her trainee assisted me in selecting frames and lens options. She was indeed quite knowledgeable about frames and lenses and was pointing out facts to the trainee that only a seasoned eyewear veteran would know. So, yep, as a man wearing glasses for 50 years- that sealed the deal for me. I look forward to returning in a few days for my glasses, and returning next year.“
“My first visit to Family Vision Care's office in White Plains was a distinct pleasure. To schedule that appointment, I spoke directly with real humans at the office's front desk - knowledgeable, helpful, thoroughly pleasant staff - rather than, as often happens, leaving a message or waiting to be transferred from a distant, larger headquarters. The office is new, a recent move, apparently, so it's spotless, but that's neither here nor there. It was the staff that gleamed. The receptionist greeted me with a smile and paperwork at the ready; the new-patient forms were clear and comprehensive; and the intake interview with Dr. Bernstein's assistant was handled crisply, politely, and with actual interest (and deeper probing as warranted) in the eye-health-related aspects of my life. Not to be ignored was the camaraderie and mutual courtesy among the staff members working with me. When, in the exam room, I met Dr. Andrea Bernstein, I understood where the staff's attention to detail, competence, and personality came from - from the top down. Dr. Bernstein clearly had reviewed the chart I'd transferredfrom a former office and, in fact, requested clarity about a small discrepancy - something noted in the chart vs. something I had written on the new-patient form. THAT kind of attention to detail. Her exam was thorough, she explained everything she was measuring, and she actually employed a couple of measurement devices that were new to me. The end result: a prescription for glasses that finally solved a problem unsolved for years (a bit of vertical double-vision which had previously been handled by "adjusting the frame," something that never solved the problem long term). The office has an optical store - a display of beautiful eyeglasses that are, for me, expensive. When I told Dr. Bernstein I'd like to try searching online, she did not try to discourage me. She explained what to look out for and then knocked me out with the suggestion that if I went the online route, once I had the glasses, I should come in and they would measure the lenses to make sure the online operation had gotten it right. Never have I experienced that degree of courtesy from an ophthalmologist, optometrist, or optician. I cannot recommend Family Vision Care highly enough.“

“I had a WONDERFUL experience with Dr. Robert Fucigna! I recommend EVERYONE to go see him! At first you walk in and you see the lovely check in girl who is always so happy and friendly! That made me feel very welcomed! They offered me water, coffee, tea.. Whatever they had available they provided for me! They have the latest Machines for all types of exams and tests for your eye problems. He has a fantastic staff! His nurses are GREAT! They are very knowledgeable and patient with each patient. They provided the right information and education of each illness and problems of the eye that you can think of! Once it was my turn to see Dr. Fucigna I was already well educated! Dr. Fucigna then answered every possible question I had in mind! He was very patient and friendly with me! I am very pleased to inform everyone that I am satisfied with my experience with him and his staff and very grateful to have him as my eye doctor. Once again I recommend everyone to see his new office in Old Greenwich CT“
